Caitlin Farrugia is a Melbourne based filmmaker whose work includes the feature film Lazybones (nominated for Best Independent Australian Feature Film, Gold Coast Film Festival) and the short documentary Adrift (St Kilda Film Festival: Winner - Audience Choice Award). Her directorial debut So Long premiered at the Melbourne Queer Film Festival in 2018. She has since completed another Feature, Maybe Tomorrow. Passionate about feminism, human rights, child wellbeing and education, her films often reflect upon ideas of human connection.

Caitlin co-ran Bakery Lane Gallery with artist Dawn Robinson. The contemporary art space promoted over 70 artists within three years. Including events such as ‘Revive’ (2013) and ‘Purpose’ (2014) presented by Bakery Lane and the Sustainable Living Festival of Victoria. Bakery Lane Gallery was nominated for several business awards.

Caitlin spoke at Gold Coast Film Festival on a panel about independent writing and directing.
